well anyway. i think i should post some new poems.
i've been writing a bit lately. right now i'm not though.
cuz i'm having writers block. i'm supposed to write a song for our youth group to sing in august.
& i just cant. nothing seems right. ehh.
anyway, here are two of my "funner" poems...

Horoscopes (6-23-04) skd
are they a product of the government?
who knows!? they could be.
teen girls read them like they were a bible!
they are in all of the teen magazines.
& they all suggest a teen problem.
they boy you like isnt worth it.
a friend is talking about you.
you should study up for that english test.
then some girl reads it & is hooked.
omigosh! it was right! ugh! duh!
of course it was right! its hard to be wrong!
now once they're hooked, you can
MAKE them start believing things.
there's a guy shes hiding from you. get him!
Seriously, these things could start a war!
next thing you know, people will plan
their whole weeks by horoscopes!
i think they are hilarious.
whether i believe them or not is unimportant.
look how much more gullible they've made us.



I Really Dislike Summer (6-24-04) skd
i forgot how much i dislike summer.
yeah i know, no school, no work
and you get vacations and stuff.
but i really would rather be in school.
i miss my friends. i bet summer
would be better
if i had a car.
& could drive.
all i do now is sit around
& hope that someone will call.
because i'm bored
& i miss human interaction.
i miss having a use.
vacations are great, too,
but a couple weeks & they're over.
then i'm back to sitting around.
i really dislike summer.



i dont really have anything to talk about. i'm really kinda getting sick. taylor doesnt call anymore. i havent heard from him since..monday. cheerleading practice starts next week. (well for me it started this week.) 8-12 every morning for 2 1/2 weeks.
i've been cleaning the house up. i'm hoping to have a party. like that would ever happen.
taylor taught me how to cheat at free cell on the computer. no one but jolene from mission trip likes to get on the computer & email me back. not even neil after a whole year of keeping in touch. i think he may be out doing stuff though. like on a roadtrip. i want to go on a roadtrip. but no one really wants to drive me. as soon as i get a car, i'm going on a roadtrip. even if it turns out to be me & some hobo i pick up driving to arkansas & back.
well. i'm gonna be a dear & let my sister get on the computer. shes been cool lately i guess.

did i mention i'm really confused about taylor?
